From Huffington Post:

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the cult sci-fi drama “Firefly,” the Science Channel is shooting a one-hour special chronicling the show’s cast reunion at Comic-Con this weekend (the special will air on Sunday, Nov. 11th, along with an all-day marathon of “Firefly” episodes).

And, in honor of the cast reunion at Comic-Con, we called up actress Morena Baccarin, who played the popular character Inara Serra on the hit Joss Whedon drama. The Brazilian actress, who is now starring on the hit Showtime drama “Homeland,” spoke to The Huffington Post about what it was like to star in the sci-fi drama, why she thinks the show was ahead of its time, and why she can’t believe it has been ten years since the show first premeired on FOX.

Morena also told us why she’s bummed that she can’t make it to Comic-Con this year, and reveals the crazy thing her co-star Nathan Fillion did on set…

Happy 10-year anniversary!

ET Online recently interviewed Morena about her role in Homeland.

After three Golden Globe nominations (with two wins for Best Drama and Best Actress, Claire Danes), it’s clear that Showtime’s inspired freshman series Homeland is an awards show frontrunner. And while series leads Damian Lewis and Danes are locks, as is a series nomination, I am also expecting to hear Morena Baccarin’s name announced on July 19 in the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama category.

To play Jessica Brody, the wife of assumed P.O.W. and sleeper terrorist Nick Brody, the 33-year-old actress tapped into a reservoir of emotions genre fans have known about for years thanks to roles on cult hits Firefly and V. But with Homeland, Baccarin even surprised herself with the pain and power she was able to bring to the table. A duality which will serve her well in the currently filming second seasons since Baccarin tells me, the best is yet to come!

I have finally gotten around to adding scans of Morena in both Vanity Fair and Allure as well as screencaptures of her appearance on The Good Wife.

Also, I wanted to take a quick moment to apologize for my slowness in getting these things to you! I started a new job in January, which has made my time for other things scarce. I’m going to work on that. In the mean time, if you all see anything newsworthy that I’ve yet to post, be sure to send me an e-mail and let me know about it!
