Last week’s profiled star, Anna Chlumsky, had her baby just before getting her Veep nomination – and this week we talk to Homeland’s Morena Baccarin, who is currently pregnant.

Nominated for her role as Jessica Brody on Showtime’s acclaimed drama, Homeland, Baccarin nabbed a Best Supporting Actress In A Drama nid and will go up against Breaking Bad’s Anna Gunn, Downton Abbey’s Maggie Smith, The Good Wife’s Christine Baranski, Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke and Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks on September 22.

Morena is the cover girl for the September 2013 issue of LA Confidential. She talks about Homeland, touches on her pregnancy and talks a little about her life growing up. Showtime released a behind the scenes video from the recent press day. Morena is featured for a couple of seconds. The video won’t embed for some reason, so you all can watch it on Showtime’s website.

I have added photos from the Firefly panel at Wizard World Chicago. Morena, as well as co-stars Alan Tudyk and Summer Glau, spoke at the panel on Saturday, August 10.

Showtime has release the trailer for Homeland Season 3, which premieres on September 29.
