Morena Baccarin has dropped hints about her upcoming return to The Mentalist.
The actress first played the murderous Erica Flynn in April 2011 episode, ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorn’.
“She was apprehended and going to go to trial,” Baccarin told TVLine. “But you don’t know if she actually made it to prison. After all, she covered her tracks pretty well, and nobody could really prove anything.”
Baccarin, who currently appears in Showtime’s hit drama Homeland, went on to describe Flynn’s reunion with Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) as “really juicy”.
“It’ll be fun to do something completely different,” she suggested. “[I can] get back to my evil roots a little bit!”
