It’s been a slow countdown to a “Firefly” reunion special ever since Science channel began airing episodes of the cult hit a few years ago. Mark your calendars, Browncoats, because the big event takes place Nov. 11.
“Firefly: Browncoats Unite” reunites Joss Whedon, Nathan Fillion, Sean Maher, Summer Glau, Adam Baldwin, Morena Baccarin, Alan Tudyk, Gina Torres and Jewel Staite for a 60-minute look at the series, including behind-the-scenes stories and footage from their San Diego and New York Comic Con panels.
“Firefly” told the story of Capt. Mal Reynolds (Fillion) and the crew of Serenity, a Firefly-class spaceship, and their adventures in space in the year 2517. It lasted just 14 episodes, but spawned a movie, “Serenity,” comics and a legion of rabid fans.
