As some of you may know, Morena’s film Death in Love recently came out on DVD (it’s also available to watch instantly on Netflix for those of you who use it). I made screencaps of Morena’s scene from the film — sadly, there is only the one — and the special features in which she was featured. If any of you have seen the movie, be sure to comment with what you thought! And just as a warning for anyone not aware, these screencaps do contain nudity.

Can you put up the interviews she did? By the way, did she mention why she decided to take this nude scene role, or mention what it was like for her?

She really didn’t mention too much about it or why she took the role. There wasn’t one of the “cast interviews” with her, only the main four actors of the film and the director. She was only in the ‘Sex in Death and Love’ feature briefly, which is why I did not upload it.

What did she mention in the Sex in Death in Love feature?

She mentioned her character being naked in a joking way and said that she felt that her scene was an important part of the film (her younger character pretty much calls BS on Josh Lucas’ character’s pessimistic outlook on life before breaking up with him). I think she also mentioned something about how at the beginning of the scene with Josh, she was naked and vulnerable, and by the end, it was the other way around.
And in the Sundance premiere feature, she didn’t say anything – it just flashed to her walking the red carpet.
I hope that helps!

Thanks for telling me. One last question, and I’m sorry to keep asking them. Do the interviews say anything on why she had to cut her hair. It didn’t really seem like she had to for any reason. Also, if you want to, you could just upload the entire interview, even with the rest of the cast in it, on Youtube. You could just tell people when Morena’s part comes up in the description. If you decide to do this, I would recommend making it on another Youtube channel just in case they claim copyright and suspend your account. They are very evil you know.

No, she didn’t mention that! I was very curious as to why she did as well, but nothing was ever mentioned. Perhaps she just wanted to and said it was for the movie?

Maybe the director wanted her to look different to show that Josh Lucas’s character didn’t just go for women with long hair. Are you gonna upload the video of her interview on Youtube?

It’s possible. I mean, she still had her long hair in the special feature. As for uploading to YouTube, I really don’t want to risk any sort of infringement.

If your worried about copyright, you could just upload the audio or the transcript of her interview on the site, or send me the transcript by email. Let me know, and I’ll email you so you know it’s me.

I would love to do that for you, but, unfortunately, I have sent the DVD back via Netflix. Since I am really unsure what exactly it is that you want, I would recommend using the free trial to scope the DVD out for yourself.
