Thanks to Andreas, we now have four short video interviews promoting “V” from ABC. In them, Morena discusses her character, playing an alien, the original series and her character’s relationship with “Chad Decker”. Screencaps will be up as soon as possible. There are more videos under the cut.

The Wall Street Journal’s Christopher John Farley sat down with Morena to discuss V. Here is a little excerpt and a link to the article.

The Wall Street Journal: I’ve heard that you were a fan of the original “V” series. You were around 4 years old when it first aired in 1983. What were you doing watching scary stuff like that?

Ms. Baccarin: I was in Brazil so we got it a few years after the U.S. got it. I remember being with my brother on the couch and watching it and being petrified. Like when one of the V’s peels off her skin. When I got the part [of Anna] I went back and YouTubed the show and watched some scenes, and it was as creepy as I remembered.

ABC has released the first eight minutes of “V”. Morena only shows up at the end, but I figured that if you were as excited as I am about this show, you’d want to see.

Just as a heads up, the video only seems to work in Internet Explorer, so Firefox users may want to switch browsers temporarily.

SciFi Wire sat down with Morena to discuss the new “V”, which is less than two weeks away (how awesome is that?).

That all sounds great, but what everyone really wants to know is if Anna will chow down on a guinea pig. Fans of V classic vividly remember the squirm-inducing bit in which Diana snacked on a guinea pig, swallowing the sucker in a single gulp.

“Not yet,” Baccarin said, laughing. “The writers keep saying that ‘We’re paying homage to the hallmark moments,’ and I don’t really know what that means yet. I don’t know if that means I have to become very friendly with a [guinea pig].”

ABC has started releasing promotional posters for “V”, and thanks to TV Guide, here’s the first one which features Morena. I have to say it’s quite creepy. I will add it to the gallery once a HQ version has been released!

ABC has released a description for the first episode of “V”. I am going to put it under a tag in case anyone wants to stay spoiler free.

Elizabeth Mitchell, Scott Wolf, Morena Baccarin, Morris Chestnut, Joel Gretsch Among Stars

“V” is a re-imagining of the 1980s’ miniseries about the world’s first encounter with an alien race. With huge spaceships simultaneously appearing over 29 cities around the world, the Visitors (or V’s) seem to promote a message of peace. Through their generous offer to share advanced technology, the V’s quickly build a following that may be overlooking a more malevolent agenda. The premiere of “V,” from Warner Bros. Television, airs TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), on ABC.
