via Entertainment Tonight:

Former Smallville star Michael Rosenbaum makes his feature writing-directing debut with the second-chances romantic comedy Back in the Day, also starring opposite Homeland beauty Morena Baccarin, and we have an exclusive clip from the film, out on VOD now and in movie theaters January 17.

Rosenbaum plays Jim Owens, an aspiring Hollywood actor whose only claim to fame is being the face of a series of insurance commercials. Disillusioned with his career path and bleak future as an actor, he decides to go back to his Indiana hometown to attend his high school reunion. There, he gets to relive his glory days with now-married pals, rekindles an old flame, and seeks a little revenge on his former high school principal — all leaving Jim to wonder what could have been…

Back in the Day also stars Danielle Bisutti, Liz Carey, Emma Caulfield, Sarah Colonna, Jay R. Ferguson, Mike Hagerty, Isaiah Mustafa, Kristoffer Polaha, Nick Swardson and Harland Williams.

Posted by on 14 December 2013 with Comments Off on Homeland Exclusive: Two Original Castmembers Not Returning as Regulars in Season 4

via TVLine:

Homeland is saying goodbye to two of its own.

On the eve of the Showtime hit’s Season 3 finale, TVLine has learned exclusively that original castmembers Morena Bacarin and Morgan Saylor will not be back as series regulars in Season 4.

The move hardly comes as a surprise, as Bacarin’s Jessica and Saylor’s Dana appeared less frequently as Season 3 went on and Brody’s shattered home life became less of a focus. (The former’s real-life pregnancy also likely contributed to Jessica’s disappearance during the second half of the season.)

According to sources, the door is open for both actresses to return on a guest-star basis, the same way ex-full-timer Diego Klattenhoff (Mike) did this season.

Reps for Showtime and 20th Century Fox declined to comment.

Homeland wraps its third season Sunday at 9/8c.
